What are the reception opening hours?
Out of season, reception is open from 9:30am to 12:30pm and 2:30pm to 6pm.
In July and August, from 9am to 1pm and 3:30pm to 7pm on Saturdays, reception is open continuously.
What are the possible arrival and departure times at the campsite?
For rentals in July and August
- You can arrive from 4:00 pm.
- Departures must be made before 10:00 am.
For rentals outside July and August
- Timetables are adapted according to the schedule.
Do you accept vacation vouchers?
Vacation vouchers are accepted for the payment of your deposit or the balance.
Fill them in before paying for your stay and do not detach the stubs.
We recommend that you send them by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt.
We do not give change for vacation vouchers; if the amount of your vacation vouchers exceeds the total amount of your booking, we will not refund the difference.

Are barbecues allowed?
We only accept gas barbecues on your pitch. Gas barbecues can be rented for €5/day at reception. Charcoal and electric barbecues are not permitted.
How far is the campsite from the beach?
We are 5 km from the beaches of Bretignolles sur Mer.
By bike
15-20 minutes by bike on the cycle path, bike rental (with our service provider PSL Bike)
By car
You can also get there by car, 5 minutes by car (free parking near the beach).
Are babies included in the accommodation's capacity?
Yes, babies are included in the accommodation's capacity. The maximum number of people in mobile homes must not be exceeded.
Are there any cycle paths near the campsite?
Cycle paths start from the campsite
You can cycle along the seafront or through the forest.
Are there any requirements for access to your pools?
Yes, access to the aquatic area is regulated
- For reasons of hygiene, men and boys are asked to wear boxer shorts or swimming trunks (shorts, Bermuda shorts and boxer shorts are forbidden, as are large buoys, balls and inflatable games ....).
- Children under 13 years of age must be accompanied by an adult to access the pools.
- Wristband compulsory.
- Full-body swimwear (burkini) is not permitted in aquatic areas.
What are the swimming pool opening hours?
The outdoor and indoor pools are open from 10am to 8pm in July and August, and from 10am to 7pm from April to September.
Can I put my car on the pitch?
Yes
You can park one vehicle in each space, except in the premium district, which is mainly pedestrian. You will be allocated a parking space close to your accommodation.
If you have a 2nd vehicle, it must be parked in the reception parking lot.
How late can I drive into the campsite?
The campsite gates are closed from 11:30 p.m. to 8 a.m.
- If you return after 11.30pm, you'll have to leave your car in the outdoor parking lot and walk to your pitch.
- Similarly, if you want to leave the campsite before 8 a.m. for an excursion or ferry departure, you'll need to take your car out by 11.30 p.m. the night before.
- Please note that the speed limit within the campsite is 10km/h.
Are visitors allowed?
Yes
Visitors are permitted and must register at the campsite reception desk.
- All visitors must identify themselves at the campsite reception desk. They have free access to the campsite, but are not authorized to use the aquatic area.
- Visitors are allowed on the campsite from 9am to 11pm.
- Visitors are under the responsibility of the host camper.
My child is a minor and would like to go away for a few days with his friends. Is this possible?
No, alas, you have to be over 18
In accordance with the house rules , minors must be accompanied by an adult family member (father, mother, brother or sister). If they come with their brother or sister, they must show proof of identity, the family record book and parental authorization. Otherwise, they will not be allowed to stay on the campsite.
Nearest train station?
Saint Gilles Croix de Vie
To reach the campsite by train, the nearest station is Saint Gilles Croix de Vie, then take a cab from the station to the campsite (approx. 10 km).
Our partner Taxis HR 85 offers trips between the Saint Gilles Croix de Vie train station and the l'Orée de l'Océan campsite at the following rates:
- 25€ Monday to Saturday, 7am to 7pm
- 35€ Monday to Saturday, 7pm to 7am (night-time), Sundays and public holidays at any time.

TGV Paris → Nantes (2h00 travel time) and Nantes → Saint Gilles Croix de Vie by TER, 1h18 travel time
Are pets allowed?
Pets are welcome in our establishment under certain conditions:
- 8.00€ per day
- Pets must be kept on a leash on the premises.
- Pets must not be left unattended in the cottage.
- 1st and 2nd category dogs are not allowed on the campsite, nor are puppies.
