The Vélorail de Commequiers itinerary is the closest to our campsite. It takes you along part of theold railway line linking Commequiers to Coëx. This 14-kilometre round trip takes you through unspoilt countryside. The route is dotted with wooded passages, views over the countryside and even takes you across the River Vie on an authentic metal bridge.
The highlight of the ride is undoubtedly the viaduct that spans the river, offering a unique view of the waterway and its lush green banks. Its gentle gradient makes it accessible even to the less athletic. It's an excellent option for a first velorail outing in the Vendée.
