The Vendée seaside
No more crowded beaches! In September, relaxation and escape will be the order of the day for your future stay at the 4-star l'Orée de l'océan campsite. Among the best beaches to discover: plage du veillon (Talmont-Saint-Hilaire), grande plage des sables d'olonnes, plage de sauveterre (Olonne-sur-mer) or plage des demoiselles (Saint-Jean-de-Monts).
Discover the coastline by bike
Would you like to discover the Vendée in a different way? Why not opt for a bike ride? The Vendée has over 1,800 km of cycle paths. Most circuits are accessible to beginners, so there's something for the whole family.
Discover our beautiful islands
The Vendée has not one but two magnificent islands: Noirmoutier and L'île d'Yeu! Take a real excursion during your visit.
The island of Noirmoutier is about 1 hour from the campsite by car, and can be reached via the bridge or the passage du gois (at low tide). Mythical places to discover include: the Plage des Dames, oyster bars, the Ile aux Papillons...
Ile d'Yeu is only accessible by sea or air, and offers an idyllic and exotic setting. In particular, the Plage des Sous is an emblematic spot not to be missed! You can then cycle around the island and lose yourself in the many little flower-filled lanes.
